Program Description
On Right Livelihood
“ We are asking each other: is there a way of living which will naturally bring about a right livelihood and at the same time enable us to live without a single shadow of conflict?”

In this dialogue retreat we will explore together the nature of right livelihood, and look into what does it mean to earn a living in this society. Is it possible to earn a livelihood and at the same time end inner conflict? Please join us as we go into questions around the possibility of living and working in a way that is free if psychological suffering. The retreat will consist of dialogue discussions, shared meals, and time for leisure, so that each participant can go into themselves and have the potential to discover what it means to have right livelihood.
Facilitator
Rowan Lommel is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Yoga Therapist living in Ojai California. She grew up in the Krishnamurti schools, and has been working on and off for the Krishnamurti Foundation since she was a teenager.
What to expect
- Hands on observation of ourselves, unfolding as we relate in dialogue.
- An opportunity to meet other like-minded people in the very special atmosphere of Krishnamurti’s home
- Potentially insightful discussions, preferably not from ideas but from direct perception.
- An atmosphere of affection, care, and lightness where the facilitator is an integral part of the process. She holds no authority beyond light and frank facilitation and questioning.
- A break from everyday habits and outlooks. Time alone, away from familiar networks of family and friends
- Time spent in a beautiful environment close to nature.

- Anybody willing to ask the fundamental human questions from direct perception rather than theory.

If you cancel 15 days or more before the event you will receive a full refund, less a $20 processing fee.
If you cancel 7 days or more before the event you will receive a 50% refund.
If you cancel less than 7 days before the event you will not receive a refund. - If Program is Cancelled:
There is always the possibility that a program may be cancelled. Therefore please make sure to obtain travel insurance for any flight arrangements made. We will notify you at least 2 weeks before the program date should it be cancelled.
