The Mirror of Relationship
Online In-Depth Program
10:00am – 12:30pm
Pacific Standard Time
Program Fee: $100
Relationship is the mirror in which we see ourselves as we are. All life is a
movement in relationship. There is no living thing on earth which is not related
to something or other. Even the hermit, a man who goes off to a lonely spot, is
related to the past, is related to those who are around him. There is no escape
from relationship. In that relationship which is the mirror in which we can see
ourselves, we can discover what we are—our reactions, our prejudices, our fears,
depression, anxieties, loneliness, sorrow, pain, grief.

The Mirror of Relationship
What would this world be if no one were related to another?
Human society has created conditional relationships to sustain mutual dependence. Our biological and ideological needs have approved bonds of companionship, sanctioned nationalistic and religious solidarity. And yet we witness uncountable fall-outs in wars, struggles, broken homes, and inner conflicts.
It is time to relook at our relationships, which is the world around. J. Krishnamurti, in ‘The Mirror of Relationship’ questions relationships. He remarks: “Relationship is the mirror in which we see ourselves as we are.” And then he inquires: “Why human beings throughout their long existence of life have never had a relationship in which there is neither oppression, possessiveness, attachment, contradiction and so on?”
In this online program, we will delve in the study-book ‘The Mirror of Relationship’ and explore the theme interactively. We welcome participants who are ready to keep aside their conditionings and explore relationships together.
The following chapters will be covered:
